Your Money Is Safe
With Nyange Adventures

We take the security of your payments seriously. Here is exactly how we protect your funds from the moment you book.

Why Financial Protection Matters

Booking a safari is a significant investment — often planned months or even a year in advance. During that time, you are trusting us to hold your money securely and deliver everything we have promised. We believe you deserve to know exactly how your funds are handled and what safeguards are in place to protect you.

Nyange Adventures is a registered and licensed tour operator based in Moshi, Tanzania, fully compliant with the regulations of the Tanzania Tourism Authority (TTA). All payments made to us are held in a dedicated client account and used exclusively for the services confirmed in your booking.

How We Protect Your Payment

We have put several layers of financial protection in place to give you complete peace of mind from the day you book to the day you travel.

Licensed & Regulated

We are officially licensed by the Tanzania Tourism Authority. Our licence number is 033946. You can verify our registration directly with the TTA before booking.

Secure Payment Methods

We accept bank transfers, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. All card transactions are processed through a secure, encrypted payment gateway. We never store your card details.

Written Confirmation

Every booking is confirmed in writing with a detailed invoice and itinerary. This document outlines every service included, all payment amounts, and the schedule of any remaining payments due.

Funds Held Securely

Your deposit and payments are held in a dedicated account and ring-fenced from our operational expenses. Supplier payments are only made once your trip is fully confirmed and all services are locked in.

Transparent Pricing — No Hidden Costs

Every quote we provide is fully itemised. Before you pay anything, you will see a clear breakdown of exactly what is included in your trip cost and what is not. This typically covers:

  • All national park entry fees and conservation levies
  • Accommodation as specified in your itinerary
  • All meals as indicated (full board, half board, or as specified per camp)
  • Safari vehicle, fuel, and driver-guide fees
  • Airport transfers at the start and end of your safari
  • Porters and climbing crew fees for Kilimanjaro itineraries

Items not included — such as international flights, visa fees, gratuities, travel insurance, and personal spending — are clearly listed separately so there are no surprises when you arrive.

Once your quote is accepted and your deposit received, the price of your safari is fixed. We will not increase your price after booking due to currency fluctuations or rising costs, unless you request a change to the itinerary.

If Something Goes Wrong

In the unlikely event that a service cannot be delivered as booked — due to a lodge closure, park restriction, or other unforeseen circumstance — we will do one of the following, at no extra cost to you:

  • Substitute an equivalent or superior alternative service
  • Adjust the itinerary to maintain the same quality of experience
  • Issue a refund for any undelivered service where no suitable alternative exists

We ask that any concern or complaint is raised with us as soon as possible during your trip so that we can resolve it on the ground. Our 24/7 support line is always available for this purpose. Post-trip complaints submitted in writing within 28 days of your return will be reviewed and responded to within 14 business days.

The Role of Travel Insurance

Financial protection from our side covers the services we deliver. However, we strongly recommend that you also take out comprehensive travel insurance before your trip to protect yourself against events outside anyone's control — such as a medical emergency, flight cancellation, or personal circumstances that force you to cancel.

Your travel insurance should ideally include: trip cancellation cover, emergency medical and evacuation, baggage loss, and personal liability. We are happy to suggest reputable providers if you need guidance. Taking out insurance is your responsibility, but it is one of the most important steps you can take before any international trip.

We recommend purchasing your travel insurance at the same time as paying your deposit — this ensures you are covered from the earliest possible date against cancellation.

Verify Our Credentials

We encourage all prospective clients to carry out their own due diligence before booking. Here is how you can verify that Nyange Adventures is a legitimate, trustworthy operator:

  • Check our registration with the Tanzania Tourism Authority (TTA) using our licence number, available on request
  • Read independent reviews on TripAdvisor, Google, and other travel platforms
  • Speak directly with our team via phone or WhatsApp before committing
  • Request references from previous clients who have travelled with us
  • Ask any question you have about our operations, finances, or partnerships — we are always open

We have nothing to hide. Our reputation is built on trust, and we welcome scrutiny. If something about our communication or pricing does not feel right to you, we want to know — and we will address it honestly.

Our commitment

Your Trust Is the Foundation of Everything We Do

Every client who books with Nyange Adventures is placing significant trust in us. We take that responsibility seriously — and we work hard every day to be worthy of it. From the transparency of our pricing to the security of your payments, protecting you is not just policy. It is how we operate.
