How Did Our Journey Begin?
Nyange Adventure was not built in a boardroom — it was built on a mountain trail.
Praise Nyange grew up in Marangu, a small village nestled at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, where the famous Marangu Route begins. From a young age, he spent his days hiking the mountain trails, exploring local waterfalls, and developing a deep love for Tanzania’s wild landscapes and rich culture. That love never left him.
After years of guiding travellers through Tanzania’s national parks and leading climbers up Kilimanjaro, Praise saw a gap — most tour operators were not locally owned, not community-focused, and not truly personal. In 2012, he founded Nyange Adventure in Moshi, Kilimanjaro, Tanzania with a clear purpose: to share the real East Africa — honestly, ethically, and with genuine care.
What started as one man with a passion and a vision has grown into a full team of certified safari guides, Kilimanjaro mountain experts, travel planners, and hospitality staff — all united by that same original purpose. Today, Nyange Adventure has crafted thousands of tailor-made adventures for travellers from over 60 countries, and the journey is far from over.

Officially Registered
Nyange Adventure is officially registered in Moshi, Kilimanjaro, Tanzania — founded by Praise Nyange with a vision to offer authentic, locally-led East African adventures.
First Safari Clients Welcomed
Our very first Tanzania safari departs from Moshi — a small group, a big dream, and the beginning of everything.
First Kilimanjaro Climb
Praise personally guides the first Kilimanjaro climb under the Nyange Adventure name — up the Marangu Route, the mountain he grew up beneath.
First Website Launched
Nyange Adventure opens its digital doors to travellers around the world searching for Tanzania safaris and Kilimanjaro climbing packages.
Fleet Expansion
We purchase our first custom open-roof 4x4 Land Cruiser — the beginning of our own in-house maintained safari fleet in Moshi, Tanzania.
First International Market Presence
Nyange Adventure begins attending travel trade events and building relationships with partners across Europe and North America.
Team & Departments Grow
We formally build dedicated departments — reservations, field guides, mountain guides, and logistics — to match the growing demand for our tailor-made adventures.
Kibo View Farm Lodge Opens
Our own farm lodge at the foot of Kilimanjaro in Moshi begins welcoming climbers and safari guests with fresh, organic farm-to-table meals grown on our own land.
Gorilla Trekking Added
Nyange Adventure expands beyond Tanzania — adding Uganda gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Rwanda gorilla trekking to our portfolio.
Kenya & South Africa Added
We grow into a true East and Southern Africa operator — covering Tanzania, Kenya safari tours, Uganda, Rwanda, and South Africa safaris.
Rebuilding Through COVID-19
Our hardest years. We used the time to retrain our team, improve our vehicles, and emerge stronger and more prepared than ever.
